A Connecticut nanny who was already charged with beating and burning a 3-year-old girl’s hands on a hot stove now faces 15 more counts after police reviewed more video from a hidden nanny cam.
Danbury resident Lidia Quilligana, 32, was charged on Friday with new felony charges alleging risk of injury to a minor.
Court records say the DVR system used to store videos shows more abuse against the girl and 1-year-old twins, the News-Times reports.
Quilligana’s lawyer, Jennifer Tunnard, would not comment on Monday morning, according to the Associated Press.
Quilligana was charged in March with first-degree assault, risk of injury to a child and third-degree criminal mischief.
She pleaded not guilty to those crimes and is being held on $1 million bond.
A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday in Danbury Superior Court.
