Jodi Arias to Represent Herself at Penalty Phase

Jodi Arias will have the spotlight all to herself after a judge ruled on Monday that she can represent herself during the penalty phase of her murder trial. Jurors will decide whether she gets the death penalty for the 2008 killing of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander. Arias was convicted last year for the murder, but jurors at the time could not reach a decision on her sentencing. The new trial to determine her penalty will begin on September 8.
