It was only appropriate that "Scandal" viewers were treated to something extra scandalous Thursday: The latest "Fifty Shades of Grey" trailer premiered during the ABC series' commercial break.
Fans of the highly anticipated erotica adaptation have witnessed a few sneak peeks of the film, but Thursday were granted a longer look at Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson's sexy on-screen chemistry.
In the new trailer, viewers are introduced to more characters in the film (like Anastasia Steele's roomie Kate Kavanagh played by Eloise Mumford), along with more intense stare-downs and sexual tension between Dornan and Johnson.

There's glimpses from their first interaction to their blossoming romance to flying in Charlie Tango and making use of Christian Grey's Red Room of Pain.
And Beyonce's singing voice soars in the background.
"It's not like a romantic situation. It's more, like, technical and choreographed," Johnson has explained of getting naughty on-screen with her hunky co-star. "It's like more of a task."

"Cheers," Dornan said, pretending to be offended.
All jokes aside, it was important that Dornan establish chemistry with Johnson, obviously. "We got ourselves into situations that don't feel too natural and are not that easy," he said. "You need to have the trust there."
"Fifty Shades of Grey" hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
