Jill Witmer is no stranger to gold medals. She has won three so far in her career: In the 2013 World League Round 2, the 2014 Champions Challenge and the 2015 Pan American Games. She seeks to add another to her collection in her first Olympics.
The former University of Maryland student-athlete has competed for the U-19 and U-21 U.S. teams. She was selected to the All-ACC team three straight years, and was included in the NCAA All-Tournament Team twice. Since debuting in 2013, the forward, who grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has earned over 50 international appearances.
