The 8-year-old girl who became close friends with Michigan State basketball star Adreian Payne died from cancer Wednesday morning, Today reported. Lacey Holsworth, known as "Princess Lacey" on Twitter, was battling neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer. She befriended Payne when he visited her in the hospital two years ago. The two formed a close bond and Lacey became a fixture at Michigan State games.
