It took 130 firefighters more than two hours to put out a Major Emergency blaze in a 120,000-square-foot building in Boyle Heights, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 6:43 p.m. at French Fabrics Inc. at 1621 South Soto St., Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department said. Firefighters had the flames out at 8:58 p.m.
The flames were through the roof of the single-story building and firefighters left the roof of the building and focused on defending other structures "due to heavy fire load and high voltage power lines,'' according to Bastman. Flames had also compromised the structural integrity of the building.

Firefighters discovered a marijuana grow inside one of those structures, she said.
No injuries were reported.
