Drake Quickly Unloads Two Miami Condos

Celebs who are having a difficult time selling their swanky abodes might want to ask advice from hip hop artist, Drake who just sold not one, but two downtown-Miami condo units after less than two months on the open market, reports The Wall Street Journal

In January, The Real Deal reported that the rapper who got his start by playing Jimmy Brooks on the TV series "Degrassi: The Next Generation" listed the combined units for $2.5 million. Fans will recognize the larger of the two units, a 3,800 square foot three bedroom crib, as the spot where Drake shot his music video for "I'm on One." The smaller of the units is a 1,675 square foot pad, which features one bedroom. While Drake combined the units, he listed them separately in case interested buyers didn't want both pads. Both apartments boast living rooms with two-story ceilings, marble staircases and glass walls with ocean views.

Drake not only impressively sold both units in what seems like record time, but he also unloaded his homes for close to asking price: $2.4 million. He originally purchased the units in January 2011 for about $1.9 million, which means the hip hop star made a sweet profit on the sale. Do we smell a second career in real estate for the Grammy-nominated artist?
