As late as last fall, the Millan's showed little sign that their relationship might be in the dog house. Ilusion joked about her husband's preoccupation with facial products in a 2009 interview with People. "Cesar puts on facial masks more than I do. And you can't talk to him while he's in mask meditation!"
Cesar said during the couple's 2009 vacation to Fiji, he would leave his wife in the hotel to observe dogs on the street, reported People.
The Dog Whisperer rose to fame in Los Angeles training dogs for celebrities like Jada Pinkett Smith and Oprah. He is now the author of four books, hosts his television show on National Geographic Channel, and runs an animal rescue charity.
