Coke Boat Busted With 3,300 Pounds of Blow on Board

Coast Guard finds vessel near Jamaica stuffed with nose candy

A Coast Guard crew in the waters between Honduras and Jamaica were blown away when they found a boat packed with enough cocaine to make Scarface shiver.

The crew of Cutter Vigorous boarded a Honduran-registered vessel named Capt Lem about 170 miles Southwest of Jamaica in June and found 3,300 pounds of the Bolivian marching powder stuffed into 77 packages, according to a report released today.

The search must have been quick. The blow weighs about as much as a small car.

The Vigorous crew transferred the crewmembers and cocaine to FBI agents in Port Canaveral on Monday.
