They began their relationship during filming for "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston. Aniston filed for divorce in 2005, and Pitt and Jolie soon became known as "Brangelina." Jolie became pregnant with the couple's first child in 2006 and had twins in 2008. The couple has also adopted three children. They announced their engagement in 2012.
This is a May 1945 photo of actor Humphrey Bogart with his wife actress Lauren Bacall. Bogie and Bacall starred in four films together and met when Bacall was just 19 years old while filming "To Have and Have Not." Bogart was 25 years her senior. Bogart died in 1957 and Bacall passed on August 12, 2014.
Screen actress Katharine Hepburn is shown with co-star Spencer Tracy in the 1945 film, "Without Love." The two starred in nine films together and had a private romance that spanned several decades. They never married, however, because Tracy was married to Louise Treadwell and, being Catholic, was against divorce.

Though Taylor would have seven husbands in her life, her romance with Burton was the one history remembers most. They starred in 11 films together, divorced after ten years of marriage, and then remarried 16 months after divorcing. But they soon divorced again the following year in 1976.

In 1972 she and Wagner remarried. Soon after, Wood had her second child, and first with Wagner, in 1974. At age 43, Wood drowned near Santa Catalina Island, California. Her death was declared an accident for 31 years; in 2012 after a new investigation the cause was reclassified as "undetermined".
Actor Paul Newman and his wife, actress Joanne Woodward, reviewing the script of the comedy "Rally 'Round the Flag, Boys" at their home in Hollywood, Calif., November 11, 1958. They starred in 11 films together and were married in 1958. Their marriage lasted 50 years, until Newman's death in 2008. They had three children together.
