Reese has dominated international long jumping in recent years and hopes to make history in Rio de Janeiro by becoming the first woman ever to repeat as gold medalist in the long jump. Since 2009, she has won gold medals at three world championships, three world indoor championships and the 2012 London Olympics. The 29-year-old also holds the American indoor long jump record.
Reese trains at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center and works as a coach at Mesa Community College in San Diego, California.
