The 89th Academy Awards were full of memorable moments, from the first Muslim to win an Oscar for acting, to the dramatic, flubbed announcement for "Best Picture" when the awards show kept viewers and fans on the edge of their seats. Take a look.

'Moonlight' is the story of a young black man struggling to find his place in the world while growing up in a dysfunctional home in a rough neighborhood of Miami during the "War on Drugs" era. Mahershala Ali plays Juan, a Cuban crack dealer who looks out for the main character, Little, after he sees the child being bullied by other kids.

Viola Davis won "Best Supporting Actress" for "Fences." Davis is the first African American actor to win an Oscar, an Emmy and a Tony for acting.
