‘Trump Pimp' and ‘Punk Hillary' Spark Bomb Scare at Art Fair: Police

A tent at an international art fair in Miami was temporarily shut down after a crate holding “Trump Pimp” and “Punk Hillary” paintings sparked a brief bomb scare, police said.

The portraits of the president and Democratic candidate were at a tent at Art Basel Saturday morning when police dogs reacted to the crate they were in, according to police.

The Art Miami tent was shut down for several hours as Miami Police brought in a bomb squad to investigate the “suspicious package.”

Police got a hold of Scott Scheidly, the owner of the crate and artist behind the two paintings.

Representatives for Art Miami said the paintings had been on sale at the art fair and were being shipped to their buyers Saturday when the crate alerted the dogs.

A bomb squad cleared the crate containing “Trump Pimp” and “Punk Hillary” and the art fair was able to open at 11 a.m. as planned.
