Two dramatic videos have surfaced of children being rescued after being trapped in hot vehicles.
A Kansas City, Missouri, couple is facing serious charges after leaving a 2-year-old girl in a car. Employees of a shoe store are seen smashing the car window in order to free the girl, who was found drenched in sweat. The couple identified the girl as their niece and asked if insurance would cover the cost of the broken window, according to the store manager. The couple was then ticketed for child endangerment but could face more charges.
Another video from Philadelphia shows police officers smashing their way into an SUV. A mother had accidentally locked her children, a baby and a young girl, inside, and she called 911.
