Thieves Steal More Than $3,600 in Bras from Suburban Victoria's Secret

A northwest suburban Chicago Victoria’s Secret store has been repeatedly targeted by shoplifters, and the thieves have had a very specific target—bras.

Overall, they got away with 72 bras worth more than $3,600 from the store at 100 W. Higgins Rd. in South Barrington, Pioneer Press is reporting.

According to South Barrington police, a store employee reported Nov. 26 that 36 bras valued at $1,771 were taken from a display table. On Nov. 9, another 36 bras valued at $1,919 were stolen.

Police said security cameras show two individuals, a man and a woman, who appear to be involved in both incidents.

The same store was also robbed Oct. 4, with more than $500 worth of merchandise taken. And police also investigated a Sept. 25 theft in which $2,200 worth of merchandise was stolen.

Store employees said three women were involved in that incident, according to police reports.
