Testicular Cancer Survivor Pushes Giant Ball Across U.S. to Raise Awareness

A survivor of testicular cancer is pushing a 6-foot-high inflatable ball across the country to raise awareness about the disease, which is the most common cancer for men between the ages of 15 and 34, Today.com reported. Thomas Cantley, who was diagnosed with Stage III testicular cancer in 2009, pushes the ball for six to eight hours each day; his ultimate goal is to trek from Santa Monica, California to New York City, stopping in 11 cities along the way. Cantley has been cancer free since 2010 and now wants to help other men catch cancer early: "I know there are a lot of guys out there like I was, who are in pain and ignoring it," he said.
