Taliban Faction's Attack at Pakistan Office Kills 23

A suicide bomber on a motorcycle attacked a government office in Pakistan, killing at least 23 people and wounding more than 75, officials said.

Jamaat ur Ahrar, a Pakistani Taliban faction fighting to overthrow the government, claimed responsibility.

The attack took place as people were lined up at a branch of the National Database and Registration Authority, which issues government ID cards, in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
