5 Syrians With Stolen Passports Headed to U.S. Arrested in Honduras

Five Syrian nationals headed to the United States were arrested in Honduras after using stolen Greek passports, authorities said Wednesday.

Honduran authorities stressed that they believe the men were not connected to terrorism and were trying to immigrate to the U.S. They were arrested on Tuesday night at the Toncontín International Airport.

The incident comes as security is on high alert after reports that the terrorists who killed 129 people in Paris last week may have entered Europe through Greece.
