Police Probe Finds Nothing Criminal in Woman's Cryochamber Death

An investigation into the death of a salon employee who died in a cryotherapy chamber in Las Vegas has concluded, with no evidence of criminal activity, NBC News reported.

The homicide division said it conducted an “extensive review” surrounding the death of Chelsea Ake-Savacion, 24. Her body was found in a cold chamber on Oct. 20.

It’s believed that she went into the chamber on her own and that she may have been in the machine for 10 hours, NBC affiliate KSNV reported.

The chambers are not supposed to be used for more than three minutes, as temperatures can get as low as minus 240 degrees Fahrenheit.
