Two men on a quad bike led officers on a high-speed pursuit in South Los Angeles on Saturday night, at one point plowing through a grassy field in an attempt to evade officers, before they surrendered and were taken into custody.
The two men avoided capture for several minutes, blowing through red lights and driving in opposite lanes. They pulled over in the area of 124th and Main streets and were arrested by California Highway Patrol officers.
Moments before the chase, CHP officers were pursuing multiple motorcycles driving recklessly on surface strets and freeways in South LA. One other person was arrested at Hobart Boulevard and Florence Avenue.
