Former Disneyland Employee Sentenced to 1 Year In Jail for Trying to Trade Tickets for Sex with Teen Girl

The former Disneyland employee was caught by undercover officers this summer

A former employee of Disneyland in Anaheim, California, pleaded guilty Friday to multiple felony charges involving attempted lewd behavior with minors after trying to trade tickets to the theme park for sex with an underage girl.

Darreck Michael Enciso, 27, of Adelanto, was sentenced to one year in jail and five years of formal probation. He will also be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, the Orange County District Attorney said.

In July, Enciso posted an ad on Craigslist seeking women to engage in sex acts in exchange for tickets to Disneyland parks, the DA said.

Enciso made contact with an undercover Huntington Beach police officer he thought was a 14-year-old girl and arranged to provide tickets to Disneyland in exchange for sex acts, according to the DA. Enciso was arrested when he arrived at the meeting place.

Enciso pleaded guilty to one felony count of attempted lewd act upon a child, one felony count of contacting a child with the intent to commit a specified sex crime and one felony count of meeting a minor with the intent to engage in lewd conduct.
