The man accused of killing an Indianapolis pastor's pregnant wife during a burglary in November has been arrested for the third time in less than two months, charged with murder in connection with a separate fatal robbery.
Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry announced Tuesday that 18-year-old Larry Jo Taylor Jr. has been charged with murder and robbery in the Nov. 4 fatal shooting of Rolando Gonzalez-Hernandez.
Gonzalez's body was found next to his car at an apartment complex.
According to a probable cause affidavit, three cooperating witnesses said Taylor told them he robbed and shot someone at the apartment complex where Gonzalez was found.
Taylor and 21-year-old co-defendant Jalen Watson face murder charges in the Nov. 10 shooting death of 28-year-old pastor's wife Amanda Blackburn.
Prosecutors said Taylor and Watson entered through the unlocked front door of Blackburn's home shortly after her husband, Pastor Davey Blackburn, left for the gym that morning. A probable cause affidavit says Taylor shot Amanda Blackburn three times, including once in the back of the head.
Amanda and Davey Blackburn moved to Indianapolis from South Carolina in 2012 to found the independent Resonate Church.
Taylor and Watson also face burglary and other charges in a Nov. 3 home invasion. Taylor also faces a rape charge in that case.
Messages left for Taylor's court-appointed attorneys seeking comment were not immediately returned Tuesday.
