FBI Chief: ISIS Bigger Threat Than Al Qaeda

ISIS efforts to inspire radicalized Americans to violence have become more of a threat than an attack by al Qaeda, FBI director James Comey said Wednesday.

Speaking at the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado, Comey said the terrorist group's social media campaigns have influenced a significant number of troubled Americans urging Muslims who can't travel to the Middle East to "kill where you are."

He said Twitter handles affiliated with the terror group have more than 21,000 English-language followers worldwide.

The FBI has arrested a significant number of people over the last eight weeks who had been radicalized, Comey said.
