ISIS Claims Responsibility for Beirut Suicide Blasts

ISIS has claimed responsibility for two suicide explosions in Beirut's southern suburb that left at least 43 killed and another 239 wounded, the Lebanese Red Cross told NBC News.

On social media, the terror group said it carried out the dual attacks, which occurred outside a Shi'ite center in the Borj al-Barajneh area, a stronghold of Lebanese Hezbollah.

An explosive-laden motorcycle detonated before a suicide bomber wearing an explosive vest exploded according to ISIS, the global security firm Flashpoint Intelligence said.

U.S. officials have not confirmed that ISIS is responsible for attacks.
