A girl was hit and seriously injured by a car in upper Manhattan Monday morning, authorities said.
The girl was hit at about 7:40 a.m. on Broadway and West 207th Street in Inwood, police said.
The victim, whose age was not immediately known, was transported to an area hospital in serious condition, authorities said. She is expected to survive.
The driver remained on scene.
Police were investigating the cause of the crash Monday morning.
