A woman was slashed in the face while standing on the sidewalk in East Harlem, police said.
The woman was standing at 125th Street and Lexington Avenue on Saturday afternoon when another woman walked by and they appeared to get into an argument, surveillance video shows.
The suspect then lunges at the victim, who was cut in the face, video shows.
The suspect ran away, the NYPD said.
The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital and was expected to survive her injuries.
