Woman Saves 3 Young Brothers From Flaming NJ Home

A New Jersey woman is being called a hero after police say she saved three young brothers from a fire.

Suzanne Reynolds raced into the house in Toms River Friday afternoon when she saw smoke pouring from the windows.

“Despite not having any protective gear or breathing apparatus, Mrs. Reynolds selflessly and heroically entered the home,” Toms River police said in a statement.

Reynolds got the boys – ages 12, 10 and 8 – out of the home just in time. She also rescued the family dog.

Police said the brothers didn’t even know there was a fire at the house when they were rescued.

The cause of fire is unknown, but officials don’t believe it was intentionally set.

No injuries were reported.
