A bicyclist is dead after he fell off his bike and rolled underneath the wheels of a tractor-trailer at a busy Brooklyn intersection Tuesday afternoon, police say.
The cyclist was riding alongside the tractor-trailer on Metropolitan Avenue when he lost control and fell off his bike near Grand Avenue, rolling underneath the back wheels of the truck, police said.
He was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The truck driver stayed on the scene. Police are continuing to investigate.
