Where To Celebrate National Margarita Day in NYC

Frozen or on the rocks? This Thursday is National Margarita Day. However you prefer you margaritas, you are being nationally encouraged to celebrate, so observe the holiday at these seven restaurants.

Rosa Mexicano (1063 1st Ave. at 58th St., New York NY 10022)

With four locations in NYC, this authentic Mexican cuisine restaurant has partnered with Casa Noble Tequila to create a special margarita to celebrate the day. It will feature Casa Noble Crystal, Cointreau, lemon and a smoked sage salt rim.

HandCraft Kitchen & Cocktails (367 3rd Ave., New York, NY 10016)

For National Margarita Day, HandCraft Kitchen & Cocktails is offering $25 pitchers of margaritas and half-price nachos.

The Egg Shop (151 Elizabeth St., New York, NY 10012)

The Egg Shop has two locations – one in NoLIta and one in Williamsburg. The restaurant will be offering giant margarita towers and a complimentary tequila tasting by Casamigos Tequila & Astral Tequila.

Tacuba (802 9th Ave., New York, NY 10019)

Tacuba in Hell’s Kitchen and Astoria have created two margarita specials in honor of National Margarita Day: “La Sombra” made with Sombra Mezcal and “Margarita de Epazote” made with Astral Tequila.

Taco Dumbo (19 W 52nd St., New York, NY 10103)

Taco Dumbo is offering one order of their signature cocktail on them, one per person. The cold-pressed juice margarita is served with your choice of liquor, juice and rim neat or on the rocks. Taco Dumbo is available in three locations.

Visit this sports bar for a buy one get one special for National Margarita Day. The collegiate atmosphere will make you wish you were back at your Alma Mater.

Toloache encourages you to come in and celebrate with their margarita special. The “El Maestro Margarita” is made with Maestro Dobel tequila, pineapple and jícama puree, epazote leaves, lime juice, agave and a Tajin rim.
