A 19-year-old man was stabbed to death during an argument with his sister in upper Manhattan, authorities say.
The man and his 21-year-old sister were arguing at an apartment on St. Nicholas Avenue at West 178th Street in Washington Heights at about 6 a.m. on Monday, according to the NYPD.
At some point, the man was stabbed at least once. The FDNY says he was taken to a nearby hospital.
Police said he was pronounced dead not long after arriving at the emergency room.
The man's sister was taken into custody at the scene. It's not clear if she's been charged with any crimes.
