It's not clear what sparked the fracas at the retailer in Union on Saturday, according to NJ.com. Total chaos appeared to break out near the jewelry department, with two men suddenly starting to punch each other and two women tussling a foot away.

A third woman stepped in to try to break up the fight between the two women, motioning the young girls out of the way as dozens of customers, seemingly concerned for the children but unsure whether to step in, watch.

A Walmart spokesman told NJ.com the group dispersed so quickly that cops were not called to the scene. It wasn't clear if anyone was hurt.

Last summer, shoppers got into a brawl at a Walmart in upstate New York, hurling cans and using baseball bats in a melee sparked by an insult over a woman's dress. That fight was also captured on dramatic video.
