Another Trader Joe's is coming a neighborhood near you, or rather, in the same neighborhood.
The grocery chain announced Wednesday that it signed a lease for a new location in the East Village.
The store is scheduled to open in the second half of 2018, at the mixed-use development building at 432 East 14th Street, between First Avenue and Avenue A.
Currently, there is a Trader Joe's paired with a wine shop at 142 East 14th Street, a 0.4-mile walk from the prospective store.
Another store recently opened in Hoboken, on May 19, and a Brooklyn store is slated to open on DeKalb Avenue this year.
Trader Joe's began in 1958 in the Los Angeles area, and has expanded to more than 464 stores in 41 states.
