Two Men Slashed on Times Square Subway Platform During Fight

A broken bottle was used to slash two of the victims during the altercation, witnesses said

Police say several people are in custody after an early-morning fight on a Times Square subway platform resulted in two men being slashed.

Witnesses told police a fight broke out between two groups at around 4:30 a.m. Friday at the station on 41st Street and 7th Avenue.

A 24-year-old victim suffered lacerations to the neck, and a 33-year-old victim was slashed in the face.

Both were taken to Bellevue Hospital, and police said one of the victims will likely also be arrested.

It is not immediately clear what started the fight.
