There is no shortage of delicious Chinese food in New York City, but is there one restaurant that ranks above the rest?
A new report by The Daily Meal has named the best Chinese restaurant in every state and Xi’an Famous Foods has been named the best in New York City.
The casual chain has nine locations in Manhattan, one in Brooklyn and two in Queens, including the restaurant's original outpost in Flushing.
Jason Wang co-owns the chain with his father, David Shi. The family came to the U.S. from Xi'an and brought the Chinese city's signature dishes with them.
The Daily Meal highlights the restaurant's cumin lamb burgers and fresh, hand-stretched noodles. You can view the restaurant's full menu on the Xi'an Famous Foods website.
