New Jersey Brother Stabs Sister to Death With Kitchen Knife: Prosecutor

A northern New Jersey teenager is accused of fatally stabbing his 21-year-old sister with a kitchen knife during an argument.

Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli says the 17-year-old stabbed sister Teia Gallo multiple times around 5:30 p.m. Thursday in their Washington Township home.

The prosecutor says the boy would appear in court Friday morning.

Officials say the suspect and victim are among 12 children in the family.

The prosecutor says one of their other siblings was home at the time of the stabbing and called 911.
