17-Year-Old Boy Dies in Daylight Stabbing Attack in Brooklyn: Police

A teen stabbed by a group of attackers in Brooklyn Monday has died, police say.

The 17-year-old boy, later identified as Rohan Burke of Brooklyn, was stabbed near Avenue M and East 17th Street in Midwood around 4 p.m., the NYPD said. 

Police found Rohan bleeding on the ground at the scene at a nearby pizza shop. 

He was taken to the hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, according to police. He ended up dying a few hours later. 

Police are now searching for two or three male suspects who may be armed with knives. 

The motive remains unclear, but police said the teen knew his attackers. An investigation is ongoing.
