Police say they are looking for a man suspected of sexually abusing and choking a woman after he followed her into her Lower East Side Apartment.
The suspect allegedly followed the 51-year-old victim to the fifth floor of her building Wednesday just before 9 p.m.
The man approached her from behind, choked her and sexually abused her, police say. The victim was able to fight the suspect off, and he fled the scene, according to police.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital where she was treated for bruising to her hands and neck.
