Man Gashes Rider in Face, Neck, Arm at Queens Subway Station: Police

Authorities are looking for a man in a long-sleeved "Coke Boys" shirt who allegedly attacked a 30-year-old subway rider with some sharp object after a verbal argument escalated, gashing him in the face, neck and forearm.

Police say the suspect got into a war of words with the 30-year-old victim at the Beach 90th Street-Holland A train station in Queens shortly after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18 around and the confrontation turned physical.

Authorities say the suspect pulled out some kind of weapon and repeatedly slashed the victim. The victim was taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition, police said.

Authorities released surveillance video (above) that shows the suspect walking down the street. Anyone with information about him is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
