Strike Briefly Suspended Service Between Bay Head and Long Branch on NJCL

Commuters on the New Jersey Coast Line was in for a delayed commute after trespasser strike near Spring Lake, the railroad says, but it has since resume service.

Although service has resumed in both directions, riders could still expierence delays up to 20 minutes. 

Train service was suspended between Bay Head and Long Branch in both directions.

The strike affected 10 different stops on the line.

NJ Transit bus was accepting rail tickets between Point Pleasant Beach and Asbury Park. 

North of those stops service is still moving along smoothly.
