Thirty-five-year-old Andrew Henry of Irvington died and a security guard was hospitalized

Prosecutors say one man was shot to death and a security guard was wounded when gunfire erupted at a social club in Newark.

It was not immediately clear what caused the shootings at Club Sensations in Newark.

Police responded to the club just before 3 a.m. Saturday and found the two victims.

Thirty-five-year-old Andrew Henry of Irvington was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later, while the security guard -- whose name was not released -- was hospitalized in stable condition late Saturday morning.

The major crimes task force form the Essex County Prosecutor's Office is leading the investigation.

Further details -- including what types of weapons were used -- were not immediately disclosed.
