Bar Owner's Son Among Three Killed in New Jersey Nightclub Shooting on Christmas Day; Two Others Wounded

Three people were fatally shot outside a nightclub in New Jersey early Christmas morning, including the son of the owner of the bar and another man who worked there, authorities say.

The men were shot at Slick's Tavern on Nye Avenue and 21st Street in Irvington around 1 a.m., prosecutors say. Pierre Clervoyant, the owner's 34-year-old son, Woodley Daniel, 32, and Mushir Cureton, 27, were killed; another 34-year-old man and a 27-year-old man were wounded, prosecutors said.

Authorities say it appears the gunman was stopped by the bouncer as he tried to enter the bar and opened fire.

No arrests have been made.

The Essex County Sheriff's Crimestoppers Program is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the shooter.
