Prosecutors have dropped all charges against a 22-year-old student teacher from Denmark who was accused by a fellow co-worker of molesting 13 children at a Manhattan preschool.
The school investigated and found no evidence of abuse. The assistant teacher, who was later fired by the school, then went to the police with her allegations.
Thomsen's lawyers said he had been coerced into falsely confessing to police.
The Daily News reported that prosecutors on Thursday said they could not prove the case "beyond a reasonable doubt."
