The NYPD is continuing to investigate an overnight crash involving a police cruiser.
Seven people, including two officers, were injured in the accident, which happened just after 1 a.m. at the intersection of Crotona Avenue and Claremont Parkway in the Bronx.
The police cruiser was severely damaged and the other car was totaled.
Police tell NBC New York the driver of the demolished car will face charges. It wasn't immediately clear what they would be.
There is no word on the extent of any of the injuries.
