A serial burglar was arrested after he got stuck in an air conditioning vent on the roof of a dentist’s office, police say.

Sean Maranzino, 32, of Patchogue, broke into Calderon Dental in Bayshore through an exposed air conditioning vent on the roof around 6 a.m. Tuesday, Suffolk County police said.

Dental staff discovered Maranzino stuck in the vent around 9:30 a.m., according to police. Emergency responders managed to dislodge him from the vent.

Police say Maranzino’s ill-fated burglary attempt at the dentist’s office wasn’t the first time he broke into businesses through their ceilings.

Maranzino allegedly broke into a Jackson Hewitt in East Patchogue through an open HVAC unit; a Vitamin Shoppe in Bohemia and a High Times Vape in North Patchogue through their ceilings; and a Vitamin World in Bellport via an unspecified method — all within the past week, police said.

He stole cash, smoking equipment and locked boxes from the businesses during the burglaries, according to police.

Maranzino has been charged with five counts of third-degree burglary and is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.

His attorney information wasn’t immediately available.
