Manhattan Strip Club Sues NJ Doctor for $135,000 in Unpaid Bills: Report

A Manhattan strip club is suing a New Jersey cardiologist who they say ran up a $135,000 tab, then claimed that he was drugged by club employees and never authorized the charges, according to published reports.

According to a lawsuit filed Tuesday, 41-year-old Dr. Zyad Younan went to Scores New York on West 28th Street four times over a 10-day period in November, racking up $135,305 in charges for food, drinks and services, the Daily News reports.

The man allegedly paid for the visits with his company’s corporate American Express card, Later, he contested the charges, saying that Scores employees had drugged him or that he wasn’t at the club, the News said. But the club contends that the man was at the club willingly and was seen on video during all four visits.

“He was coherent until he saw the bill,” Scores manager Stephen Hyman told the newspaper.

The cover charge at Scores is $20, and meals and drinks can run hundreds of dollars. Customers can also tip dancers using their credit cards.
