Robert Randolph Playing Brooklyn Haiti Benefit 3 Weeks Before Super Bowl

Robert Randolph and the Family Band (and friends) is playing a benefit concert at Brooklyn Bowl tonight to raise money for the Red Cross and Yele Haiti - relief organizations that have been raising a staggering amount of donations through text-based programs since the devastating earthquake struck Haiti eight days ago.

Tickets to the "very special jam session" range from $25.00 - $200.00 and the venue says all fees will go to the charities after credit card processing. Additionally, is hosting an auction for eight tickets to the show plus three hours of bowling. Bidding starts at $500 and includes an option to purchase for $2,500.

Robert Randolph and the Family Band is fronted by its namesake, the esteemed pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph. Yesterday the NFL announced the band would be playing alongside Barenaked Ladies and O.A.R. at Super Bowl Saturday Night, a free outdoor concert and fireworks show in Ft. Lauderdale Beach Park on the Saturday night before Super Bowl XLIV.
