Federal agents say they found more than 200 kilograms of synthetic marijuana after raiding a store in Queens.
The Drug Enforcement Administration says 36-year-old Osvaldo Maria Vasquez was arrested after the raid Tuesday at a tire shop in Queens Village.
Authorities say Vasquez was in the store at the time and was arrested on a previously-issued warrant accusing him of conspiring to distribute cocaine.
The DEA says agents also found chemicals used to make synthetic marijuana, scales and other packing material in the store.
They estimate the drugs have a street value of about $200,000.
Vasquez was awaiting arraignment at federal court in Brooklyn on Wednesday. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
