Police have arrested a man suspected in the shooting death of a 38-year-old man in Queens.
Police say Fabian "Shabba" Sullivan has been charged with second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with evidence in the death of Leon Casen Brown.
Brown, of Far Rockaway, was found shot in the torso near Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Beach 81st Street around 8 a.m. Tuesday, police said. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the shooting appeared to stem from a dispute. A spokesman for the livery cabs union in New York City said the victim and the alleged gunman were unlicensed dollar van drivers who got into an altercation.
It was not immediately clear if Sullivan had an attorney.
