Queens Girl, 12, Accused of Killing Kitten

The girl was arrested last week and charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals

A 12-year-old Queens girl has been arrested for allegedly killing a 3-month-old kitten by tossing it in front of a passing car.
The Daily News reports that the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals made the arrest last week.
ASPCA spokesman Bret Hopman says the case has been referred to Family Court.
The girl was charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals.
Authorities and witnesses say the gray tabby, named Little Man, was killed after the girl allegedly lured him from in front of the owners' Ozone Park home on Sept. 11.
