Puerto Rico Votes for Governor: New Push for Statehood?

Puerto Rico heads to the polls on Tuesday, with a governor's race between a candidate who favors full statehood and another who prefers the island's current relationship with the United States.

Polls show the statehood supporter, Ricardo Rosselló Nevares, leading the race.

Whoever wins will have to deal with the island's fiscal crisis. Rosselló, 37 and the son of a former governor, has said he sees statehood as the best solution.
